Ferst Foundation for childhood literacy provides free books in participating counties

FFCL strives to improve early learning opportunities for every child regardless of income, race, religion or gender with the philosophy that any child who cannot read is at risk. If  you want to register your child, but you are not in a participating county? The Ferst Readers program is available throughout the U.S. with a paid subscription.
